Who we are

What we collect
- Quote requests (RFQ form): vessel name or IMO number, port and ETA, your name and designation, work email, phone or WhatsApp number, the items you need and any delivery notes.
- WhatsApp and email: whatever you choose to send us when you contact us directly.
- Your quote basket: items you add to the RFQ basket are saved in your own browser (local storage) so they are still there when you come back. They are not sent to us until you submit a request.
We do not use advertising trackers on this website, and we do not sell your information.
How we use it
- To prepare and send quotations, arrange delivery to your vessel and handle port and customs paperwork.
- To contact you about your request, order or delivery.
- To keep business and tax records as required by law.
Who we share it with
Only those who need it to complete your order, such as port and security authorities, launch boat operators, couriers and customs agents, and service providers that run our website and email. Contacting us on WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy. The map on our contact section is provided by Google Maps.
How long we keep it
We keep quote and order records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.
Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Email rfq@akwaabamarine.com and we will respond promptly.
Security
Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and quote requests are delivered directly to our own company mailbox.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
